What is Mosey?
Mosey is a free app for finding places to eat in Ireland, rated by people who actually ate there. You can rate a meal, keep lists of places to try, follow people whose taste you trust, and collect loyalty at the places you go back to.
Is Mosey free?
Yes. Mosey is free to download and use on iPhone and Android, and this site needs no account at all.
Can a place pay for a better rating on Mosey?
No. Every rating comes from someone who ate there, and nothing a venue pays for changes how prominent it is. The only thing that does is Mosey Gold, which is earned from ratings alone.
What is Mosey Gold?
Mosey Gold is a mark a place earns when its average rating is high enough, and keeps until that average falls some way further. It cannot be bought.
Can I book a table or order food through Mosey?
Yes, at places that have switched it on. In the app you can book a table, order ahead for collection or delivery, join a walk-in queue and pay at the table.
A place I like is missing. How do I add it?
Rate it in the app. A place gets a page on this site once somebody has rated it or its owner has claimed it.
I run a café, restaurant or bar. How do I get it on Mosey?
Use Find your business on this page, open your page and choose Claim your business. Claiming is free. You can then add your hours, menu and photographs and reply to ratings, and switch on bookings, orders and memberships when you want them.
