Each season has one question, such as the best place for Halloween treats and drinks. Type a name, pick the place and cast your vote.
How do seasonal food votes work?
For each season, Mosey asks one question: who is the best for that season's food and drinks? You type a name, pick a place and your vote is in.
Separately, places can enter a dish in a seasonal ranking that is built from ratings of that dish. The vote is the simple version, open to everyone.
How do I cast a seasonal vote?
Open the season's question
When a season is on, a question appears at the top of Home, such as the best place for Halloween treats and drinks. Tap it to vote.
Search and pick a place
Type the name of a place and choose it. You can add a few words about what you had.
Change your mind if you like
You get one vote a season and you can change it until the season ends. The latest one counts.
Where do I find the vote?
On Home, at the top, whenever a season is on. The question is worded for the season, so it might ask for the best place for Halloween treats, or the best for Christmas food and drinks.
Where do the results appear?
In the app, on the season's page, by city and by country. The boards are also public web pages, and a finished season stays up as that year's result.
Can I add a rating and a photo?
Yes, if you want to. If you have not rated the place you voted for, the app offers a quick rating and photo. It is always optional, and it uses the same rating screen as any other rating.
How do the boards stay fair?
Only real customers can vote, one vote each. A board has to reach a minimum number of votes before it shows, and a place needs more than one vote to appear. Ties are listed in alphabetical order.

Questions about seasonal food votes
How many votes do I get?
One for each season. You can change it until the season closes, and the latest vote is the one that counts.
Can anyone see who I voted for?
No. The results show places and counts, never who voted or what they wrote.
Do I have to rate the place too?
No. If you have not rated the place, the app offers a quick rating and photo, but a vote never needs one.
Why does a result sometimes not show?
A board only appears once enough people have voted, so one person's pick is never a public ranking. A place also needs more than one vote to appear.
Which seasons are there?
Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day, Pancake Tuesday, Lunar New Year, Diwali and Eid, with a few more in the countries where they are celebrated.
Can I vote for a place I have never rated?
Yes. You can vote for any place on Mosey that has a page, whether or not you have rated it.
