What are food events on Mosey?
Places put on events for their customers, and what is on changes week to week. Mosey gathers what is on near you in one place, so you do not have to follow every place's social feed to find out.
You see the date, the price and what the ticket includes, you claim or buy a ticket in the app, and the ticket stays on your phone. On the night, you show it at the door.
How do I find and book a food event?
Find what is on
Browse events in the app by list or calendar, or filter for this weekend, free events or the top rated. Cities with events also have a page on the site.
Claim or buy
Choose how many tickets, see the total and pay in the app. A free event takes a tap. Early bird prices and member early access show on the event.
Keep your ticket
Your tickets sit in Tickets & Saved. If you cannot go, send the ticket to a friend or follow the event's cancellation terms.
How can I search for events?
There is more than one way into the list, so you can start with whatever you know.
- By list or calendar, whichever suits how you plan.
- By quick filter: this weekend, free, top rated or gatherings.
- By detail: date and time, type of event, capacity, budget and location, and rating.
- By word, with a search for the name of an event or a place.
What do I see on an event page?
Everything you need to decide is on the event itself.
The price and what it covers
The ticket price, any early bird price and how many days it has left, and extras such as bar credit that is included with each ticket.
Who it is for
Some events have a minimum party size. Others give members early access, with the date the public sale opens.
The terms
A description and the terms and conditions are shown in full, including how cancelling and refunds work.
What if an event sells out?
Join the waitlist. When a ticket comes up, you are told and have a day to claim it. Your position on the list is shown, so you know where you stand.
If you would rather not keep checking, you can choose to buy automatically. You save your card, it is charged a day after a place opens up, and you can opt out before then.
And if you cannot go, you may be able to give your ticket back, so that someone on the waitlist can have your place.
Can I cancel, get a refund or send a ticket to a friend?
Each event shows its terms before you buy. A free ticket can be cancelled any time before the event starts, and a paid ticket is refunded in full until the cut-off the place sets. If the place cancels the event, you are refunded. When a ticket can no longer be cancelled in the app, you can ask the place for a refund, and the place reviews the request.
To send a ticket to a friend, use Send from your tickets. It moves to their account when they accept it. You can also add the event to your calendar or save it for later.
Who are food events for?
They suit people who like to be somewhere on a particular night: a birthday with a reason to go out, a team looking for something to do together, a couple after something different, or a visitor who wants to meet the local food scene.
Some events also earn loyalty, and the app marks them when they do.
