What Mosey does
Family plan memberships: one monthly plan for the whole household
Join a place's family plan, add the people you eat with and share one pool of credit and perks. The app shows you the cost before anyone is added.
How do family plans work on Mosey?
Many places offer a monthly membership. Some of them add seats, so a household can share one plan instead of each person joining separately.
The person who pays holds the plan and adds the others. From then on, the plan's perks and its credit belong to everyone on a seat.
How do I set up a family plan?
Find a plan with room for more
Look for a membership that has seats for more than one person. A family plan shows its price for each number of people.
Join and add your people
Subscribe, then add family members by email from the plan's members screen. The app tells you the exact change to your bill before you confirm.
Share one pool
Everyone on a seat spends from the same credit and uses the same perks. Each person sees the shared credit in their own wallet.
How is a family plan priced?
A family plan is priced for the whole group, from one person up to the most the plan allows. The price for more people is never lower than the price for fewer.
When you add or remove someone mid-way through a month, the change is worked out for the days left, and the app tells you the amount first.
What do the people on a seat get?
The same as the person who pays: the plan's perks, and a share of its credit. If the plan gives a monthly credit, it is one pool that the whole household draws on, at the till, in orders and on events.
How do I see what is left?
Open your wallet and look under vouchers and credit. A shared plan shows the shared balance beside any credit that is yours alone, and the two are never added together.
Can I take someone off the plan?
Yes. The person who pays can remove a member after a confirmation, and the app shows the change to the bill before it happens. People who are removed lose access to the shared credit.
Why choose a family plan?
Because the place you eat at every week should not charge you separately for each person. One plan covers the household, and the price is clear before you add anyone.
- One plan for the household, not one for each person.
- The price change is shown before you add or remove anyone.
- Credit and perks are shared, and you can see the balance in your wallet.
