Win back lapsed customers
Win back lapsed customers with a message to the regulars who went quiet
Mosey shows you who has stopped coming, lets you message the customers who agreed to hear from you, and can attach a voucher or a loyalty bonus. You see how many people a message will reach before you pay.

Every tool is optional.
Where did your regulars go?
Most businesses notice a regular has gone when they have been gone a while. There is no list, no date and no reason to ring. The customer drifted, a rival opened nearby or a new routine took over.
A customer who already knows your food needs a nudge, not an introduction. But only if you can find them, and only if you are allowed to write to them.
Mosey keeps the list for you, and writes only to people who said yes.
How does win-back work on Mosey?
See who has gone quiet
Mosey groups your customers from their orders, bookings, till visits, tickets and loyalty. Ready-made groups include regulars who have gone quiet, customers who came once and never returned, and members who have stopped coming.
Build the group and write the message
Pick a ready-made group, or combine conditions across features, such as a lapsed member with a reward waiting. Write your message, and the count of people it will reach appears before you pay.
Add an offer if you want one
Attach a voucher for a fixed amount that lasts up to 90 days, or a loyalty bonus such as an extra stamp. Mosey sends the message and the offer once to each person.
What do customers and you see?
A message they asked for
Customers get a notification, and an email as well if they agreed to marketing email. Only people who said yes to marketing hear from you, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
No pile-ups
Nobody hears from you twice in a week. If you messaged someone in the last seven days, with a win-back, a Boost, an automation or a membership message, the new send waits for them.
Results you can read
The Results tab shows how many people opened each message and which orders, bookings and sales followed it, so the next message is better aimed.
Win-back reaches only customers who agreed to hear from you. The price per person is shown before you pay, and unspent budget is refunded if you end a campaign early.
How do I send my first win-back message?
- Host your business on Mosey, open Outreach and choose the CRM tab.
- Pick a ready-made group such as Regulars who have gone quiet, or build your own from conditions like Has not ordered in the last (days) or Holds an unspent voucher.
- Check the count. It shows how many customers match, how many said yes and how many are held back because you wrote to them lately.
- Write the message in your own words, or start from one of the starter wordings.
- Choose what each person gets: a voucher for a fixed amount, or a loyalty bonus on one of your programmes. Set how many days a voucher lasts.
- Pay for the budget at checkout, send, and read the Results tab a few days later.
What does a win-back message cost?
Win-back is paid per person reached, from a budget you pay up front. The price per person is shown before you pay, and unspent budget comes back to you if you end a campaign early. A voucher costs nothing to send: Mosey takes no commission on it, and you give up its face value only if the customer spends it.
How is this different from a mailing list or a social post?
A mailing list needs names you gathered and consent you can prove. Mosey already holds who ordered, booked, paid at the till or earned a stamp with you, and the consent they gave, so the send respects it for you.
A social post reaches whoever the feed shows it to. A win-back reaches exactly the customers in your group, and the count is shown before you send.
Who gets the most from win-back?
Cafés and restaurants with regulars: a bakery with a Saturday crowd, a bar with a quiz night, a takeaway with weekday lunch orders. You need customers who have ordered, booked or paid with Mosey, so a business just starting will have a short list at first.

Win-back: questions from owners
Who can I write to?
Only customers who agreed to marketing from you. The count before you send shows how many that is.
Can I offer a percentage off?
No. An offer is a voucher for a fixed amount that you choose, and it lasts from one to ninety days.
How often can I message the same person?
A customer is held off for seven days after any message from you, across win-backs, Boosts, automations and membership messages. A campaign also reaches each person only once.
Can it run on its own?
Yes. Autopilot repeats a win-back for you, charges your saved card for each round and turns itself off, and tells you, if a payment fails.
What if I end a campaign early?
The unspent part of the budget is refunded.
