Why do paper stamp cards let you down?

Paper cards get lost, copied, left in coats and never seen again. You cannot tell who is on card seven, who has gone quiet or whether the card changes how often people come.

A coffee card also suits a café better than a restaurant. A large bill and a small one should not earn the same stamp.

Mosey has four kinds of card, free on every plan, so you can pick the one that fits the way your customers spend.

How does the stamp card app work?

  1. Choose a card

    Start from a template or build one. Stamp cards count what people buy, so five coffees earn a pastry. Visit cards count visits. Spend bands give a bigger reward for a bigger bill. Frequency cards reward visits in a week or a month.

  2. Customers join in the app

    A customer finds your card in the Mosey app, joins and sees their progress. At checkout, they see what an order will earn and how many more are to go.

  3. Stamp at the counter

    Your team opens the Counter, the customer taps your tag or reads out a six-digit code, and staff add the stamp or redeem the reward. A typed code needs the customer to say yes on their phone. Customers who pay through Mosey earn automatically.

Progress that is clear

After a stamp, the customer gets a notification that says how many are left, in their own language. Before they order, the app tells them what the order will earn.

A counter that is quick

The Counter screen shows the customer's card the moment they tap. Staff stamp, redeem or undo, and every action is recorded.

Rewards that get used

Members are reminded before an earned reward expires, so rewards are used, not forgotten.

Loyalty programmes are free on every plan, and Mosey takes no loyalty commission.

How do I start a stamp card?

  1. Host your business on Mosey, open Loyalty and connect your Stripe account in Account and billing. Loyalty needs a connected account.
  2. Choose Create a programme and start from the Coffee card, Visit card or Spend bands template, or build one of four types: Stamp cards, Visits, Spend bands or Frequency.
  3. For a stamp card, say what earns a stamp, such as an item or a menu section, and what the reward is.
  4. Set the dates, save and make the programme active.
  5. Set up your tags in the dashboard, put one at the till and show your team the Counter screen.
  6. Give your team the Serve customers at the counter permission so they can stamp.
  7. Stamp your own card first, then tell your regulars.

What does a stamp card cost?

Nothing. Loyalty programmes are free on every plan, and Mosey takes no commission on stamps or rewards. Your team can stamp a customer however they pay.

How is this different from a paper card?

A paper card counts punches. A Mosey stamp card counts what was bought: you can map your items or menu sections to a card, so a coffee earns a coffee stamp and a cake does not.

You see the numbers: who is one visit from a reward and who has not been in. You can message those customers, with their consent.

Staff cannot hand out free coffees without a trace, because every stamp, redemption and undo is recorded.

Who is a stamp card for?

Cafés, bakeries, juice bars, delis and takeaways with repeat customers. A restaurant with larger bills suits spend bands or a membership better. A food truck can run a card too, because the card travels with the customer.

    No. Customers who pay through Mosey earn automatically, and your team can stamp anyone at the counter.

  • Can I undo a stamp added by mistake?

    Yes. Counter actions can be undone, and each one is recorded.

  • Can I give extra stamps on a quiet day?

    Yes. Plan a bonus day for double stamps or one extra stamp, with the dates, weekdays and hours you choose.
