Several sites and staff roles
Several sites and staff roles: one login, the right access for every person
Run two sites or ten from one login, give owners, managers and staff the access their jobs need, and see sales, payments and the team across every site in one chain view.
Free to claim
Every tool is optional.
What goes wrong when a second site opens?
A second site doubles the logins. Sales sit in separate tabs, the same manager has different passwords, and the person who closed the till yesterday also has access to the bank details.
Sharing one owner login is a common answer, and it is the wrong one. You cannot tell who did what, and you cannot take access back from one person without changing it for everyone.
Mosey lets each person have their own login with their own role, site by site, and gives owners a chain view across the lot.
How do roles and the chain view work?
Give each person a role
Invite people by email as Owner, Manager or Staff. Owners run everything. Managers run service, offers and reports but not billing, payouts or who is on the team. Staff handle orders, payments, bookings and the inbox.
Fine-tune the access
Switch individual permissions on or off for a person, such as Issue refunds or Reply to ratings, and set different access at each site.
See the whole chain
With more than one site, the Chain page shows revenue by site, financials, reports you can export, who has access where, and Mosey Pay payments by site and by staff member.
What do your people and you see?
Logins people keep
Someone with no Mosey account gets a single-use invite link that lasts seven days. Someone who already has one is added straight away.
A till that knows who took the payment
Payments taken through Mosey Pay at the till are recorded against the person who was logged in, so the chain view can show payments by staff member.
Guard rails that hold
Only an owner can hand out billing, team and chain access, and the last owner of a site cannot be removed.
Roles are checked on the server for every action. Hiding a button is never the only lock.
How do I set up my team and my sites?
- Host each of your sites on Mosey. Each business is claimed and checked separately, so start with the main one.
- Open Team and access and invite your managers by email. Choose Manager unless the person should be an owner.
- Open each person's permissions and switch off anything the job does not need.
- Give staff who take payments the Take payments (Mosey Pay) permission, and the ones who stamp loyalty cards Serve customers at the counter.
- With a second site on your login, open Chain and read the overview, the financials and who has access where.
- Export a chain report, orders or payments, when your bookkeeper asks for one.
What do roles and the chain view cost?
Roles, invites and the Chain page have no charge of their own. What you pay for each business is on the pricing page, at the same published rates whichever site takes the order or the payment.
How is this different from sharing one login?
A shared owner login hides who did what. Separate logins give each person their own access, and one person's access can be removed without a password change for everyone.
The chain view reads the same orders and payments as each site's own dashboard, so what you see across the group matches what your managers see at their site.
Who needs several sites and staff roles?
Owners with two or more sites, groups with a head office, and any single business with a mix of owners, managers and part-time staff. A one-person business can ignore all of it.
Give everyone the right keys
Host your business on Mosey, invite your first manager and set their access in a few minutes.
Sites and staff roles: questions from owners
What can a manager not do?
A manager cannot change billing or payouts, manage who is on the team or use the chain pages. Everything else is open by default, and you can switch it off person by person.
Can someone without a Mosey account join my team?
Yes. They get a single-use invite link that works for seven days. It only works for the email address you invited.
Can a person have different access at different sites?
Yes. Access is set per site, so a manager at one site can be staff at another.
How do I see all my sites together?
Open Chain. It appears once you have more than one site, and shows revenue by site, financials, reports, who has access where and Mosey Pay payments.
Is access checked on the server?
Yes. Every action is checked against the person's permissions on the server, so a hidden button is never the only protection.
