How to find memberships near you and join a founding run
Mosey · 23 October 2026 · 3 min read

Memberships near me lists the places around you that sell a membership, with filters for plan type, price band, perk kind, founding runs only and saved plans. A founding run has a limited number of seats and a countdown; if it has not opened yet you can join its waiting list and Mosey tells you once, when it opens. Save plans for later to build a shortlist, and join from the place's page.
Where do you find Memberships near me?
From the Loyalty page, choose Memberships near you, or from the entry points in the loyalty and memberships area and on a place's page. The list is ranked by distance, so turn on your location. If location is off, the screen asks you to turn it on to find memberships near you.
How do you filter?
Use the chips at the top to narrow the list:
- Plan kind: a standard plan, a credit pass or a family plan.
- Price band, shown in your own currency.
- Perk kind, such as free items, discounts or priority booking.
- Founding only, to show only limited runs.
- Saved, to show the plans you saved for later.
Each card shows the plan name, the place, the price and cadence, any free trial, and a band for how many members it has once it has enough members, such as 10 or more. The app does not show an exact small number of members.
What is a founding run?
A limited number of seats on a plan, usually at a launch price. The card shows the seats left, with a meter that fills as seats go. The page shows a countdown to the opening if it has not opened yet, counted from the server's clock, so a phone with the wrong time still agrees with everyone else.
How does the waiting list work?
If a founding run has not opened yet, tap the waiting list button. You are added once, and when the plan opens you get a push and an email telling you it is open, once. Nothing else is sent from the list. Being on the list is not a commitment to buy, and you can leave it. If you are already a member, you are not told again.
What happens when it opens?
Open the place's page and join, as in joining a membership. A seat is held for you for ten minutes while you enter your card, so two people cannot take the last seat. If the seats are gone, the card says Full.
What does Save for later do?
It adds a plan to your saved list so you can come back to it. Tap the heart or save control on a card; it responds at once and rolls back with a message if something goes wrong. The Saved filter shows your shortlist. You can save up to a hundred plans, and the Saved view needs your location because the list is ranked by distance.
What about passes?
Some neighbourhoods run a shared pass across several places. If one is available near you, its page shows the places on it and joins through the lead place's own plan. Availability depends on where you are.
Which places are listed?
Only places that can take payments and have a membership on offer. Places that do not sell memberships, or hotels, are not shown.
