How the sums work
Mosey's fee is what you take through Mosey Pay and the till in the month times 0.5%, up to a maximum of €149. The cap is reached when takings hit the cap divided by the rate.
Stripe processes the card itself and its fee is passed to you at cost, with no mark-up from Mosey. It varies with the type of card, so add your own figure to compare with your current provider.
Tips go to you in full, with no Mosey fee on them.
Mosey's fee carries VAT at 23%, which a VAT-registered business reclaims.

What does Mosey charge for card payments in store?
0.5% of what you take through Mosey Pay and the till, capped at €149 a month, before VAT on the fee. Stripe's card fee is passed to you at cost on top.
Do I need a card terminal?
Not for customers paying with Mosey Pay, who approve the payment on their own phone against a card saved in the Mosey app. A first-time customer without the app still needs a card reader, so most businesses keep one for walk-ins and move their regulars to Mosey Pay.
When does the monthly cap kick in?
Once your takings through Mosey for the month pass €29,800. Above that, Mosey's fee stays at €149 however busy you are.
Is there a monthly fee or a contract?
No. You pay the fee on what you take, nothing in a month you take nothing, and you can stop any time.
Does Mosey take a cut of tips?
No. Tips are paid to you in full with no Mosey fee.
Where does the money go?
Straight to your own Stripe account. Stripe pays it out to your bank on its usual schedule.
