A Self-Guided Food Trail Through Kilkenny

Few Irish cities are as made for a food crawl as Kilkenny. Compact, walkable and packed with good places, it is the perfect size to explore on foot, one bite at a time.

Mosey Food Trails turn that into a proper passport-style adventure.

How a Kilkenny trail works

A food trail is a set of stops you visit in person around the city. At each one you show a QR screen for staff to scan, and a stamp lands instantly in your trail passport.

Some trails follow a fixed route, others let you visit the stops in any order, so you can wander Kilkenny at your own pace.

Earn a reward for finishing

Complete all the stops within the time window and you earn something for it:

  • A completion badge on a free trail

  • A voucher or reward on a paid one

It is a fun bit of motivation to try places you might otherwise have strolled past.

Build a trail album

At each stop you can snap a photo to add to a private album for the trail, so you finish with a personal record of your Kilkenny crawl.

When you are done, you can rate the whole trail to help other food lovers decide whether to follow in your footsteps.

Great for visitors and locals

A trail is a brilliant plan for a day out in Kilkenny, whether you are showing visitors around or rediscovering your own city.

It takes the deciding out of the day and turns eating around town into a shared adventure with a reward at the finish.
